Tintype Portraits
Tintype images are handmade using the same equipment, chemicals, and process that were used in the mid- to late-1800s. The wetplate collodion process was invented in 1851. Tintypes are truly one of a kind.
Perfect for ANY occasion, Mike is thrilled to offer this historic process offsite using his traveling darkroom.
In-Studio Tintype Portrait Sessions are about 1 hour and include one 8x10.
Cost is $275.
Prices for additional tintypes vary by size. Tintypes are one of a kind. Please let us know how many tintypes you'd like so we can plan your tintype experience and session timeframe accordingly.
